About – Gideon Mutum

GIDEON AGWOM MUTUM

“God doesn’t just call us to preach — He calls us to broken places to rebuild with faith, truth, and action.”

I Serve Where It Hurts Most

I’m Gideon Mutum — a pastor, peacebuilder, and advocate for transformation. My life’s work is rooted in the conviction that the Gospel must respond to human suffering, both spiritually and systemically. I founded Nehemiah Camp to restore hope to displaced families, and I lead The Governors’ Assembly to mentor transformational leaders.

Author of “Rich Christians, Poor Nation”

In my book, Rich Christians, Poor Nation, I explore how the Church can reclaim the social gospel as a strategy for real national transformation. If you're ready to move from prosperity preaching to societal reformation, this book is for you.

My First Ministry

I'm joyfully married to Gladys Leo Kachiro — my partner in purpose, prayer, and parenting. We’re raising four beautiful daughters: Amayah, Tiyamah, Timimah, and Talyah. Together, we call Kafanchan home — a place where ministry, peace, and community meet.

Why I Do What I Do

  • Faith must bear fruit — not just in prayer, but in policy.
  • The Church is a nation-building agent — we must engage, not escape.
  • Youth leadership isn’t optional — it’s vital for Nigeria’s future.

Let’s Build, Together

Whether you're a policymaker, pastor, youth, or peace worker — let's collaborate for true transformation.
